Synopsis: This was a site re-design. Customer was happy with general concept of original site, but wanted it updated visually, as well as replacing antiquated shopping cart system. (Click here to view previous site layout.) Using previous design as a model, cascading style sheets were utilized to minimize overall page graphics, maximizing page loading time. New graphics were created and incorporated into design. Commercial cart system compatible with current credit card processor was heavily modified and customized to work according to customer's specification. Internal "category" pages and searches were developed to assist costumers in quickly finding products. A back-end content management system was built using custom programming, allowing customer to easily update content without knowledge of coding or fear of adversely altering HTML coding.
